How a boiler repair works
- Call or send a message and tell us what the boiler is doing. If there's a fault code on the display, note it down.
- We arrange a visit, usually the same or next day.
- We find the fault, explain what's wrong and agree the cost with you before carrying out the repair.
- We fix it, test the boiler and check it's working safely before we leave.

Frequently asked questions
What can I check before I call?
Make sure the power to the boiler is on, the thermostat is turned up and your other gas appliances are working. Check the pressure gauge: on most boilers it should read between 1 and 1.5 bar when the heating is off. Note any fault code. Never take the boiler casing off yourself.
How quickly can you come out?
Usually the same or next day across our area. If you have no heating and there's an elderly person or young child at home, tell us when you call.
Is it safe to keep using a boiler that's playing up?
If you smell gas, turn off the gas at the meter and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. If you see soot or black marks around the boiler, or the flame is yellow or orange instead of blue, turn the boiler off and call us. These can be signs of carbon monoxide.
